Nate the Great brings his detective skills to Lourdes Theater Vision

The Lourdes College Theater Vision program will close out its 24^th season with a presentation of Nate the Great, a new musical about teamwork and friendship. Based on the first volume in Marjorie Weinman Sharmat’s classic children’s book series, the play is produced by the creative team at Theatreworks USA.

Nate the Great is a pint-sized young detective who has found lost balloons, books, chickens and even a lost goldfish. But when neighbor Annie asks for help in locating her missing painting, it takes Nate’s daring nature, detective know-how and the help of a partner to solve the toughest case of his career.   

Shows at 10 a.m. and 12: 15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. All Theater Vision performances are held in the Franciscan Theater of Lourdes College. Tickets for the general public are $8. Call 419-824-3999.

The Theater Vision: Educational Theater Series of Lourdes College provides curriculum-based theater arts education opportunities for school groups and home school students in pre-K through college, and for the public.

Each season, 35-45 school-day performances are presented by professional touring companies in the 850-seat, fully equipped Franciscan Center Theatre.
