Toledo Zoo offers Zooper Bowl on Feb. 4
Before the big game, come kick it at the Zoo! Your Toledo Zoo
invites you to Zooper Bowl 2012, celebrating all things
football on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Unlike its namesake, though, The Zoo’s Zooper Bowl tickets are
budget-friendly. You’ll get in for half-price admission Saturday
and Sunday (Feb. 4 – 5).
On top of the Zoo’s gridiron games -- which may get a little
silly -- your Zooper Bowl ticket includes all the Zoo’s great
Winter Weekends activities. See ice-carving on Saturday from 11
a.m. to 2 p.m. Let the kids burn off some energy on Sunday at an
indoor inflatable bounce house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. On both
days, enjoy dynamic performances by the Toledo School for the
Arts.
And all across the Zoo, watch your favorite Zoo animals chow
down at Cabin Fever Feeds. Whether you like sharks and vultures
or orangutans and hornbills, you’ll love seeing them feast on
their food.
Presented by Mercy Children’s Hospital, Winter Weekends offers
cool activities in warm places throughout February. Visit
toledozoo.org/winter for a schedule of activities,
all offered free with regular half-price admission.
The Toledo Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is
located on the Anthony Wayne Trail (US 25), four miles south of
downtown Toledo. For more information, please visit
toledozoo.org or call (419) 385-4040. Lucas
County residents are admitted free of charge each Monday from 10
a.m. to noon. ID showing proof of residency is required.
