between UNISON and NAMI

With the intention of extending their services to consumers of
mental health services and their families, UNISON Behavioral
Health Group and NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) of
Greater Toledo established an imminent collaboration. Starting
on September 13th, 2012 NAMI’s bilingual personal
will be present at the UNISON facility located in the Toledo
East side.
This kind of collaboration, not only increases the services from
both organizations, but mainly “benefits the consumers”, said
Kitty Slight, manager of marketing and development.
The issue is to offer and increase services right in their
neighborhoods to families who are impacted by mental illness,
especially at times when financial resources may be limited.
